Hello friends today here we are with a world famous paratha recipe which you may have had many times. But here we have one twist in this recipe, this paratha is known as oil free aloo paratha. Mainly it is prepared from roasted potatoes, whole wheat flour, tomato, green chillies and some other spices. Here we have used hot and spicy green chillies but you can use less spicy chillies as well.

This is really very simple and easy to make Indian main course recipe plus requires very less time to cook is well. You can prepare this quick oil free aloo paratha for morning breakfast or lunch or dinner and serve with any curries or chutney or a hot cup of tea. With being super delicious and tempting this alu paratha is also very healthy and nutritious too. Ingredients for Oil Free Aloo Paratha:

Main Ingredients:

500 gm Roasted Potatoes.
250 gm Whole Wheat Flour.
1 Medium Tomato.

Other Spices/Ingredients:

2 Hot Chillies.
Some Fresh Coriander Leaves.
1 tbsp Roasted and Coarsely Crushed Cumin Seeds (add little salt while crushing cumin seeds).
1 Inch Chopped Ginger.
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder.
Salt to taste.

Oil Free Aloo Paratha Preparations:

  • Take wheat flour in a big bowl then add in salt and water as needed, knead soft dough from it and keep aside.
  • Now chop the green chillies, ginger, tomato finely and put in a bowl.
  • Now remove the skin of roasted potatoes and chop them roughly and put them also in bowl.
  • Now add in red chilli powder, crushed cumin seeds, salt and mix well, stuffing is ready.
  • Now make small balls from kneaded dough then roll out all the balls in same size of rotis.
  • Now take one roti and apply little oil then sprinkle some dry flour and put another roti on it.
  • Now again apply some oil on this roti and sprinkle flour and put another roti on it.
  • Now sprinkle some flour and make roll of it and cut the roll in two equal parts.
  • Now take one part and roll out roti from it then put some stuffing at the centre.
  • Now combine all edges at one place and again roll it and make aloo paratha, make all the aloo parathas ready similarly.
  • Now put a grill on charcoal then roast the paratha on charcoal till get cooked nicely from both sides.
  • Now take out the delicious oil free aloo paratha in a serving plate and serve with a hot cup of tea and enjoy.
