How to Make Drumstick Curry.

Hello friends today here we are with another simple, easy and delicious gujarati curry recipe which is well known as drumstick curry. This easy to make Indian curry is mainly prepared from drumstick, curd and some spices. It is also known as dahi saragva Sabji in gujarat and tastes really yum when served with bhakri. But you can also serve it with roti, barjre ka rotla or rice whichever you like.

For making this quick drumstick curry first drumsticks are cut in equal sizes, boiled in pressure cooker for three whistles then curd and spices gravy is prepared and then after cooked drumsticks are added into gravy. Just you have to follow the simple steps and the mouthwatering curry is ready to serve. Along with this you may also like gujarati gathiya curry, aloo Bhakarwadi, Baingan Bharta and much more.

Ingredients for Drumstick Curry:

Main Ingredients:

250 gm Drumsticks.
3-4 tbsp Curd.

Other Spices/Ingredients:

2-3 tbsp Ginger, Garlic, Green Chilli, groundnuts, sesame seeds coarsely grinded paste.
½ tsp Cumin Seeds.
½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
1 tsp Gram Flour.
½ tsp Chilli Garlic Paste.
½ tsp Garam Masala.
1-2 tbsp Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves.
Salt according to taste.
3 tbsp Oil.

Drumstick Curry Preparations:

  • Cut all the drumsticks 4 inch long in size then add put in pressure cooker and cook them for 3 whistles then take out in a bowl and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a nonstick pan, when oil gets heated add in cumin seeds, when cumin seeds starts slathering add in ginger, garlic, groundnut paste and saute it till become light golden brown.
  • Now add in gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chilli garlic paste and cook it for 30 seconds then add in curd.
  • Mix all the things well then add in water and salt along with drumsticks and garam masala.
  • Now cover and cook it for 10 minutes at medium low heat.
  • After 10 minutes turn the heat off, add in coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, chapatti or bajre ka rotla and enjoy.
